WE RAISED $1100.00 FOR THE BRADLEY FOOD PANTRY
Thank you to everyone who participated in our paint around on August 28th. Artists Jim Ferrier, Ken Ahlering, Wendy McCarthy, Erica Jones, Jonas Exume, Sue Gioulis and Norma Tolliver collaborated to create gorgeous paintings as a fund raiser for the pantry.
The paintings are beautiful and can be viewed at the gallery until Sunday September 5th. Congratulations to the winners of the paintings: Diana Reus - Tempest Dawn, Cathy Chesnut - Blue Sky, Janet Buccella - Porches of Ocean Grove, Martha Driver - Main Avenue Winter, Kelly Andrews - Spring Victorians.
The Bradley Food Pantry is located at the rear of St. James Church in Bradley Beach. The joint efforts of St. James, Bradley Beach, 1st United Methodist Church, Bradley Beach Roman Catholic Church of the Ascension and West Grove Church Neptune, the pantry serves people from the Monmouth County area with kindness and love. The 20-year ministry of this food pantry is the longest in Monmouth County.
Supporters of the Main Avenue Galleria know that our mission is to be a haven for local artists, to make art accessible to everyone and to give back to our community. To that end we will make cards, prints and giclees available of the paintings created in this most recent fund raiser.
